Dr James Curry brings a wealth of experience to South Hedland Country Chiropractic. Dr James worked in the Newman branch for 5 years before taking some time to work and travel overseas. He is an incredible Chiropractor and has additional qualifications in paediatric Chiropractic.

James graduated from Murdoch University in Western Australia with first class honours and dux of class. With almost a decade of practice experience, James has worked with people from all walks of life. This experience has ranged from working with world-class sporting athletes, to Australia’s iconic jackaroo’s and jillaroo’s, miners and farmers, to families, children, infants and many, many more. Because of such a diverse variety of experiences, James holds a Diplomate in Chiropractic Paediatrics, and is working on finalising his Sports Chiropractic (ICSSP) certification.
Treatment techniques that James is certified in include:
- Chiropractic Adjustments (Diversified/Gonstead)
- Low force techniques (instrument assisted, activator, mobilisation, blocking)
- Soft Tissue Therapy (muscle release and trigger point)
- Dry Needling Therapy (medical acupuncture)
- Cupping Therapy
- Kinesiology taping (Rocktape and Sportape)
Outside of practice James also sits as a board member for Hands On India, an Australian Chiropractic Healthcare Charity that operates annual volunteer health camps to rural India. He volunteers with St John Ambulance Australia as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer. James spends his spare time adventuring and exploring the Australian outback with Country Captures.
